The Morally Repugnant Brian Sussman: 1907 dead in Iraq. Heck, that's nothing!

Dear Parents of Dead Soldiers:

If you are feeling blue about your dead son or daughter look on the bright side. In the overall scheme of things it's not that bad! Our favorite radio host, Brian Sussman (6-8 pm on KSFO, 560 on your AM dial), said tonight that a lot more people died in World War II. So, by comparison, your dead children are really just a tiny drop of blood in a historically huge bucket. Feel better? Sure you do!

And by the way, if your son, daughter, husband, wife, mom or dad died in a non-combat related way while in Iraq, they count even less! According to, The Suss Man, the fact that they are even part of the 1907 death toll is because those mean ol' liberals are trying to make the death count seem worst by counting people who weren't killed in actual combat (even if they were in a combat zone). Of course people who die because of wounds sustained in combat don't count either, but the military doesn't like to talk about that number.

And for those of you serving in Iraq, don't worry! According to Brian Sussman, since 250,000 soldiers have rotated through Iraq, your chances of dying are less than 1%! (Brian doesn't talk about your chance of getting your arms and legs blown off, but I'm sure compared to say, the Bataan Death March, losing your arm is like prickly heat on the butt of one of "Brian's Kids".)

So, Brian Sussman, for your ability to minimize death for radio ratings and craven political purposes, Spocko's Brain gives you the coveted Morally Repugnant Human of the Month Award! Congratulations!

We salute you!

I do wish I had taped his comments, but when I tried, my computer vomited up the bits. I guess even inanimate objects find his comments morally repugnant!

Nice catch, Spocko.

Brian Sussman is obviously all about perspective, the large picture, the historical overview! For a vanity war Congress didn't vote for, attacking a country that didn't provoke us and which had no WMDs, what's a few dead? I mean, Katrina may have wiped out more than that and here comes Rita and we haven't gone to war with Cuba yet have we? Besides, remember 9/11. That explains it all and why don't you love America?

Thanks! Of course Brian Sussman is a former Weather Man, so he really likes to give things from the 20,000 ft. perspective.

He also said that we aren't prepared for the next war. I wonder how good his forecasting powers are?

Eventually he will be coming here (once he figures out how to use Google) I'm sure he will use the same arguments. Brian Sussman is really Morally Repugnant.

Sadly to him, it's all just a joke. The really sad thing is that I used to think that he was just stating the extreme view as a way to gin up controversy and ratings. I didn't think anyone would openly be that obtuse. But lately I'm starting to think he really is that disgusting.

I pity his wife and children.

I can't stand Brian Sussman even though I'm a conservative. He's an arrogant a$$hole. It's people like him that give Repulicans a bad name.

He constantly makes comments like that... "1907 dead, heack that's nothing." God I hate this guy.

Another tactic he loves to use is to try to tie two unrelated topics together in order to take a swipe at his enemies (liberals or environmentals, etc). Here's an example: "I can't believe people are complaining about gas prices, after all it's PETA that doesn't want oil companies to drill in Alaska.". Well gee Brian do you really think that drilling in Alaska would lower gas prices? No I don't think think so. If anything they'd probably raise prices and try to blame it on the cost of exploring a new resource. So in this example he ties not being able to drive in Alaska (for example to blame enviromentalists) to why oil companies are screwing you and me at the gas pump, when the cause and effect are completely UNRELATED. He's a piece of human waste. No intellecual value in this guy's talk show at all. He's nothing but a White House propogandist.

Brian Sussman makes me sick. He's a hypocrite as well: "George Bush is doing a great job on national security with the war in Iraq." Yeah sure Brian, yet he won't close the borders to illegal immagrents from Mexico, a large percentage of which are probably foriegn terrorists. And why doesn't he do anything about it Brian? Do you know why Brian? Do you know why but just won't say it? Well in case you don't know it's because he's a corporate whore allowing cheap labor in (and terrorists) at the expense of our national security and at the expense of our middle class jobs.

Don't be fooled, the illegals are not taking jobs in the fields picking lettuce. They are taking MIDDLE CLASS JOBS such as janitorial, construction, food service, land scaping, and many other jobs, driving wages in those areas down. George Bush and Brian Sussman know this, they aren't stupid. So that my friends is a hypocrit.

Well thanks for posting Mr. Sussman's email address, I'm sure he will love us all to email him so he knows our opinions. :)
